Our Services

Whether you need an emergency reboot or a planned hardware deployment, we are there 24/7 for you.

Core Support & Troubleshooting

Visual Verification
  • Scope: On-site inspection of equipment status, indicator lights (LEDs), and physical console messages. Technicians observe, describe, and report on alarms, error codes, and the physical state of devices.
  • Technical Details: This service includes detailed reporting of observations, such as the color and status (solid, blinking, off) of network and power indicators on servers, switches, and storage arrays. Upon request, high-resolution digital photographs and video of rack elevations, specific equipment, or cabling will be captured and sent directly to your technical team for remote diagnosis.
Power Cycling
  • Scope: Professional hard (physical) and soft (OS-level) reboots of servers, switches, firewalls, storage controllers, and other rack-mounted devices.
  • Technical Details: Our technicians execute power cycling with precision, following your documented procedures. A hard reboot involves physically turning the equipment off and on via the power button or by toggling power at the rack Power Distribution Unit (PDU) outlet. A soft reboot involves following customer-provided instructions to restart the device via a connected console, preventing potential data corruption. Each action is confirmed visually and reported upon completion.
Physical Audits & Labeling
  • Scope: Comprehensive inventory and documentation of your rack equipment, cabling infrastructure, and other assets.
  • Technical Details: Technicians will perform a full or partial audit of your cabinet(s) or cage. This involves documenting asset serial numbers, model numbers, asset tags, and their precise rack unit (RU) location. The service extends to auditing patch panel connections, verifying labeling accuracy against your documentation, and creating a full inventory report.
Site Escort
  • Scope: Securely accompanying vendors, contractors, or internal personnel to your designated data center space. This also includes managing on-site logistics for deliveries.
  • Technical Details: Our technicians serve as your authorized proxy, managing physical access control protocols. This includes receiving equipment deliveries at the loading dock, performing an external visual inspection of packaging for damage, reconciling shipments against packing lists, and securely transporting them to your cage or cabinet. The escort service ensures that third parties are continuously monitored while on-site, mitigating security risks and ensuring they only access authorized equipment.

Hardware Lifecycle Management

Rack & Stack
  • Scope: Expert unpacking, assembly, and physical installation of servers, network gear, storage arrays, and Power Distribution Units (PDUs) into your designated cabinet.
  • Technical Details: Technicians will follow your rack elevation diagrams and best practices for airflow management to install equipment. This includes mounting rail kits, seating devices securely, and installing equipment such as blanking panels to maintain proper hot-aisle/cold-aisle separation and thermal efficiency. PDUs will be installed and connected to the primary power source as specified.
Hardware Installation & Swaps
  • Scope: Seamless installation, replacement, or removal of modular (hot-swappable and cold-swappable) components.
  • Technical Details: This service includes the precise replacement of components like Hard Disk Drives (HDDs), Solid-State Drives (SSDs), RAM modules, power supply units (PSUs), and network interface cards (NICs). Technicians will also perform more complex changes such as installing/removing interface cards (e.g., HBAs, GPUs), swapping system boards, and handling routine media management tasks like inserting or removing tapes, CDs, DVDs, or USB drives as directed.
Equipment Decommissioning
  • Scope: Professional removal, and preparation of retired assets for shipping, disposal, or recycling.
  • Technical Details: Systematically powering down and disconnecting equipment, removing it from the rack, and preparing it for transit according to your instructions. This includes professional packing, palletizing, and labeling for shipment. We can also coordinate with certified e-waste or data destruction vendors for secure disposal.
Intra-Facility Logistics
  • Scope: Securely moving equipment within the data center, from the loading dock to your cage, between adjacent cabinets, or to a storage area.
  • Technical Details: Our technicians are trained in the proper handling of sensitive IT hardware. Using appropriate equipment, they will physically relocate assets within the data center facility. Every movement is logged to ensure a secure chain of custody from the point of origin to the destination.

Cabling & Connectivity

Patching & Port Management
  • Scope: Executing Moves, Adds, and Changes for patch cable connections between your equipment and network patch panels.
  • Technical Details: Based on your specific port-mapping requests submitted via our service portal, technicians will connect, disconnect, or move copper (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a) and fiber (Single-Mode, Multi-Mode) patch cords. This includes patching from equipment NICs to in-cabinet patch panels to your core network switches, all while adhering to bend-radius standards and your specific labeling conventions.
Cable Tracing & Management
  • Scope: Locating, identifying, labeling, and organizing cables to maintain a clean, compliant, and easily manageable rack environment.
  • Technical Details: Using tools like a tone and probe kit, technicians can trace and identify both ends of a specific network or power cable within a dense cabinet or across data hall cross-connects. This service is crucial for troubleshooting connectivity issues and for auditing physical network paths. We also provide cable management (dressing) services, using Velcro ties and routing pathways to neaten cabling, improve airflow, and ensure compliance with facility standards.
Connectivity Testing
  • Scope: Basic signal verification for fiber optic and copper cabling to assist in remote troubleshooting of physical layer connectivity.
  • Technical Details: To help diagnose a suspected Layer 1 issue, our technicians can perform several tests. For fiber optics, this includes using an  OTDR equipment to check for breaks. For copper, we can perform continuity testing to ensure all pairs are correctly pinned and terminated. These tests provide the essential on-site data your network engineers need to determine if an issue is related to a faulty cable or patch.
